Workshop: Implementing New Mobility Schemes

POSTED ON 05.04.2017

On 3 May Comtrade Digital Services will join a workshop with the title “Implementing New Mobility Schemes: Impact on Business, Operations and Regulation”, organized by MaaS Alliance and IRU – world’s road transport organization.

A new wave of projects, promoted by private and public investment, is providing a proof of concept needed to accelerate the deployment of Mobility-as-a-Service (MaaS) across Europe. Several barriers still exist and regulatory and business frameworks are very different across European countries. The MaaS Alliance is currently working on the guidelines to define a common approach to MaaS in Europe and beyond, focusing on issues relating to users, legal framework and incentives, technologies and standardization, and communications.

The workshop will address these issues and provide an opportunity for passenger transport operators, policymakers and other stakeholders to exchange views on this disruptive, yet key trend for the future of mobility.

As a MaaS Alliance’s leader of the working group for Single Market, Marko Javornik, VP/GM Mobility & Travel at Comtrade Digital Services will present the findings of the Single Market working group document and moderate the panel session involving operators and cities.
