COMTRADE DIGITAL SERVICES HOSTS “THE FUTURE OF MOBILITY” ROUNDTABLE

In cooperation with the University of Maribor, the Ministry of Infrastructure is organizing the third “Transport and Research in the Danube region” conference which will take place on 9 November 2016 in Grm Novo mesto, Slovenia.
This year, the conference will host three roundtables: “New technologies in railways”, “Potential of air mobility in the region” and “The Future of Mobility” that will be hosted by Marko Javornik, VP/GM Mobility & Travel at Comtrade Digital Services.
The aim of the round table is to discuss different challenges where research might contribute to achieving sustainable mobility, in particular by focusing on digitalization, Mobility-as-a-Service, autonomous vehicles and electrification of mobility.
Panelists Mark Boris Andrijanič, Public Policy, Central & Eastern Europe at Uber; Dean Čebohin, Head of Business Development CEE at Flixbus; Matej Čer, procurator at Avant car; and prof. Dr. Harry Wagner, professor for Mobility & Management at THI Business School, will discuss the following topics:
- What are the challenges that we are addressing with digitalization?
- What are the changes for consumers?
- What is the end-game scenario for the digitalization of mobility?
- Who are the key players and who will be the winners of this transformation?
